Making disciples to change the world.

Jesus’ last recorded prayer is found in John 17.   In that prayer, among other things, he prayed that his followers would be “one”.   He went on to say to his Father that the reason behind this prayer was, “so that the world may believe that you have sent me.”

On April 5, small groups from churches in the greater Evansville area will gather from 8:00 AM until Noon to serve the city together. Sign in between 7 and 8 AM at the CK Newsome Center. Click here for directions.

From there, groups will be deployed to one of dozens of Evansville parks we will be serving by cleaning and preparing them for Spring and Summer.

Most people will be doing light clean-up (bring gloves and a rake!).  There are a few projects that require carpentry or landscaping skills.  Even those who aren’t able to do much manual work can come, be an encouragement and pray for our community!

At 12:00 Noon, everyone is invited to one of three “parties in the park”, where we’ll celebrate the day together with food and fun – and invite anybody who visits the parks to join in.

ONLINE REGISTRATION CLOSED: If you haven't registered yet, just come to the CK Newsome Center between 7 & 8 AM Saturday morning to sign up and get your park assignment.
